How to read it

Three numbers that decide whether a retail order is worth it.

Wholesale price

Retail price minus the retailer margin. Most retailers expect about half of retail, which is why a DTC price that works online can fail in wholesale.

Landed cost

What one unit costs once it reaches your warehouse: factory price plus inbound freight, duty, tariffs, and brokerage.

Allowances and chargebacks

Deductions a retailer takes from your invoice for markdowns, damages, late shipments, or labeling errors. They come after the order ships.
